MICHAEL KRAJEWSKI

Michael Krajewski is a self-taught artist from Columbia, South Carolina. His style has been described as neo-expressionist, but he’s less concerned with labeling than with creating from an authentic, mindful space and expressing what he’s feeling and experiencing in the moment. He works in mixed media and has experimented with everything from video / multimedia integrations to painting on live models. Michael’s work has been featured in numerous galleries in South Carolina, including Anastasia & Friends, Grapes & Gallery, HofP Gallery, Frame of Mind, The City Gallery at Waterfront Park - Charleston, and Tapp's Art Center. He’s been commissioned to provide artwork for film and art festivals, set design for Trustus Theatre, and art for the Columbia City Ballet. Michael has painted a mural in the Greenville Children’s Museum, which was sponsored by Target Corporation, and a mural in the Columbia Museum of Art, where he remains one of only two artists ever invited to paint on the walls. Michael is represented by HoFP Gallery.
